At Cova, we are committed to maintaining a respectful, safe, and ethical environment for all staff, partners, and community members. If you have experienced or observed misconduct or have concerns related to our work, we encourage you to report it. All submissions are taken seriously and handled with care.

What You Can Report

You may submit a complaint related to Cova’s activities, including:

  • Harm to individuals, communities, or the environment
  • Harassment, discrimination, or gender-based violence
  • Violations of the rights of vulnerable groups
  • Misuse of organizational resources or authority
  • Any behavior inconsistent with Cova’s values and Code of Conduct

We typically review complaints related to activities within the past 12 months, though exceptions may be considered.

Who Can Submit

Anyone connected to Cova’s work may submit a concern, including:

  • Staff, consultants, volunteers, and interns
  • Partner organizations and contractors
  • Community members
  • Board members
  • Any affected individual or their representative

Anonymous submissions are accepted where possible.

What This Channel Is Not For

This form should not be used for:

  • General inquiries or information requests
  • Routine workplace conflicts (handled through HR)
  • Disagreements with program decisions
  • Claims without reasonable supporting information

How to Submit

You can report a concern in any of the following ways

  • Directly to a supervisor or senior staff member
  • Through Cova leadership or Board representatives

Confidentiality & Protection

  • Your information will be handled confidentially whenever possible
  • Retaliation against individuals who report concerns is not tolerated
  • Reports are reviewed fairly and impartially

What Happens Next

After submission:

  1. Acknowledgment – Your report is received and logged
  2. Initial Review – Leadership assesses next steps
  3. Investigation (if needed) – Relevant information is gathered
  4. Action – Appropriate corrective steps are taken
  5. Follow-up – You may be informed of resolution when possible
