We believe, because together we made safe water accessible to 269,000 more people last year. Your support sent circuit riders on 4,900 visits to rural communities to provide safe-water assistance. You equipped Edmundo’s community with a real-time sensor to increase water quality uptime, gave Maria-Elena opportunities to better adapt to life’s challenges, made safe water a reality in the remote rainforest community of Pamkawas, and increased learning in La Independencia and nine more schools that now boast safe water for students. Read more.

Equipped with knowledge and resources and skills, we see people taking significant steps toward locally-led sustainable safe water every day. We see citizens overseeing water system administration in communities, teachers laying the foundation for environmental protection in classrooms, young adults literally following in the footsteps of parents hiking to water tanks to maintain chlorinators. We see knowledge being transferred long after we have left, and, most importantly, communities growing in health and in prosperity.
